Iceland: Day 0/1

Day 0

Late flight out of O'Hare to Reykjavik. Sadly I am kind of a Big And Tall Guy, so sleeping was pretty rough. At least I got to see Greenland on the way!

Day 1: Blue Lagoon, Gunnuhver Geothermal Area

But we made Iceland! First we went to the Blue Lagoon, which was so relaxing (and invigorating due to it being low 50s and blowing mist when out of the water).

With the place we are staying not available for a couple more hours we decided to head to Gunnuhver Geothermal Area. That whole area looks like another planet.

Now it's only 4pm Iceland time but it's time to CRASH for a bit. Jet lag is a real struggle.

Maybe more later, or maybe we veg and recover for wandering Reykjavik tomorrow.
